Every affiliate, whether a trade exchange or corporate barter company, will have the opportunity to develop a “mini-site” on the TradeBanc system through a very easy use of templates.
Companies who read TradeBanc’s ads and are curious, or interested in barter, may then check out the TradeBanc web site. Kamm expects there will be many, as a result of their extensive $1.5 million advertising efforts—and interested companies will be able to do a search online for a local barter company. The advertising effort will begin in the latter quarter of this year, with an already acquired $400,000 media package.
The software enables prospects to check for the nearest trade exchange, or a corporate barter company that fits their needs. They will be able to fill out an application, and that application will be sent by e-mail directly to the chosen affiliates.
